10 THINGS WE WANT

10 MANGA WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE MADE INTO AN ANIME  TV SERIES (NOT OVA OR MOVIE).

Adapting manga into anime has been around since Osamu Tezuka and "Astro Boy".  For many, seeing their favorite book in full motion animation brings immeasurable thrills.  Many are brought to the big screen, while others are direct to video versions, known all over as OVA.  The truly lucky ones wind up on television, giving both the manga author and the writing staff a chance to really expand on the story, in many cases going deeper that a movie or limited run series can do.

So, one day while we were discussing why Telomere hasn't made it to the United States yet, we started talking about what manga we felt would benefit from the longer format of a TV series, rather than a movie or OVA.  As you can guess there were many titles, both popular and obscure, to choose from.  So, while some stories like Appleseed seems like an obvious choice, we decided to add in some relatively unknown manga, in the hopes that, someday, someone will bring these titles to the US.

So, DVD Vision Japan is proud to present the "TOP 10 MANGA WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE MADE INTO A TV SERIES."  We list not only the reason why we chose them, but how long it should run.

DVD VISION JAPAN'S "VISIONS OF 2004!"

The DVJ staff has complied a list of what we feel are the best things about 2004.  From Anime to Cosplay, we take a look at what made 2004 such a great year.

But, we can't just tell you, where is the fun in that?  To find out who the winners are, you have to visit the pages!  Don't worry, I'm sure you will find out soon enough!
