WELCOME TO DVJ PHOTO

My name is Matthew Anderson of DVJ Photo. I am a semi-pro photographer who works in the Maryland, DC, and Virginia area. I have been taking photos for over 20 years. In 2003, I made a name for myself with cosplay photos, and eventually moved up to model and promotional work.

I consider myself Semi Pro (I do not get paid, but I have done promotional work by request), and every day I am learning something new. I have received many compliments from photographers I admire, and have had several aspiring models seek me out.

I am always looking to meet with local models who are interested in expanding their portfolio, and to help me work on my skills. I am also interested in photographing cosplayers or groups to promote their club.

Also, if you have an idea that you would like to try, please ask. Every model I have worked with has come up with at least one of the photoshoots on their own. If we can work it, we can do it.

I use a 35mm Cannon EOS Digital Rebel. I have the ability to do green screen and video editing. My preference is working outdoors, but can do indoor/studio shoots.

My wife does hair, makeup, clothing, and designs many of the concepts. My wife and I can also provide costumes, props, and backgrounds depending on the type of shoot. Once we have an agreement, DVJ Photo is more than willing to come to you. Additionally, I can provide same sex chaperones, or you can use your own.

I work on a TIME FOR CD system. For your hard work, you will receive a free copies of all photos for your professional or personal use. I do not charge for services, so feel free to ask if you need to expand your portfolio or experience.

Please note that I only do two photo shoots a month, and priority will be given to regular subjects. Please send requests by the 30th of the month prior.
